Watermelon Chess

Uses the six-piece version of Watermelon Chess. Both black and white have six pieces, and the game starts with the melon-shaped board on either side; Compete along the connecting line for liberties between empty points and pieces.

How to play

  1. 01

    Start

The board has 21 intersections, with six stones on each side. Black goes first.

  2. 02

    Move

Each turn, choose one of your own pieces and walk along the board to an adjacent empty point; You cannot jump a piece, nor move to a spot where you already have a piece.

  3. 03

After the move, if the opponent's connected piece or group of pieces does not have adjacent empty points, the entire group is taken away. You cannot make your own moves without liberties.
